6. Daryl Worley, Las Vegas Raiders
At this point in free agency the Raiders could certainly do much worse than bringing back Daryl Worley for another go-around. Worley is much younger than most of the players on this list at just 25-years-old and proved himself to be a starting-caliber corner in 2019. He allowed a 53.5 completion percentage in 2019 but struggled with the deep ball.
To be fair to him however, the Raiders defense as a whole struggled and the blame can’t be placed solely on his shoulders.
Worley may be looking for a long-term deal at this point in his career as he is entering his prime, but a big money one-year deal would be a good option for him and the Raiders. Worley could stay in a system and team he is familiar with and try to build on the momentum from 2019 towards a big payday while serving as a bridge for the rookie corner the Raiders are likely to select early in the draft.
The familiarity is an even bigger bonus in these uncertain times as it would be easier to put pen to paper with a front office and player that have been together for two years rather than searching for a new team.
