Resetting the Las Vegas Raiders biggest needs after free agency
By Evan Groat
The Las Vegas Raiders have made their fair share of moves during free agency, and we reset their biggest needs heading into the 2020 NFL Draft.
In their first offseason together for the Las Vegas Raiders, Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden were able to add an influx of talent through the draft and free agency. Now, in their second offseason together, things are off to a good start, as they have added some talent at some of their biggest needs through free agency.
The Raiders added key players to major positions of need including not one but two linebackers in Cory Littleton and Nick Kwiatkoski. In addition, they have brought in some defensive line help in the form of Maliek Collins and Carl Nassib, and most recently, they added a playmaking safety in Damarious Randall.
While the roster appears much improved on paper, there are still areas that need to be addressed with some thrifty spending and through the draft. They do not have a ton of cap space remaining, and moves can still be made to free up some cash, so there could be even more changes by the time the team picks twice in the first round later this month.
Let’s take a look at the Raiders top five needs after free agency and just weeks prior to the draft.
