9. Denarius Moore

  • 2011 / Round 5 / Pick 148

This past decade was not kind to the Silver and Black. With only one playoff appearance and no division titles during the 10 years, there wasn’t much for Raider Nation to get excited about. Denarius Moore was one of the few bright spots that gave the fan base a glimmer of hope.

The University of Tennessee product was the type of wide receiver that Al Davis coveted, a deep threat. After running a sub-4.4 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, Moore averaged 18.7 yards per catch in his rookie season. He followed up that performance with 14.5 ypc in 2012 and 15.1 the following year.

Moore flamed out quickly as the first three seasons of his career were significantly better than the last two, but he ended his time in Oakland with 142 receptions, 2,169 yards, 17 touchdowns and an average of 15.3 yards per reception. The wide receiver cracks the top 25 for the organization in career receiving yards and touchdowns.
