7. Ronald Curry

Ronald Curry might be one of the most underrated athletes in NFL history. Out of high school, he was named Mr. Basketball in Virginia, and he continued his hoops career at the University of North Carolina where he was teammates with Julius Peppers. Both were two-sport athletes in college who put together successful professional careers on the gridiron, but Curry had the more difficult path as he transitioned from quarterback to wide receiver.

The former Raider’s transformation was a successful one as he racked up 193 career receptions for 2,347 and 13 touchdowns. He ranks inside the top 25 for the franchise in all three of those categories.

After playing seven seasons in the Silver and Black, Curry would go on to spend the 2009 offseason in Detriot and St. Louis but only saw game action in Oakland. He now serves as the wide receivers coach for the New Orleans Saints, working with one of the best wideouts in the game, Michael Thomas.
