If the Las Vegas Raiders are going to drastically improve their defense, drafting a cornerback similar to some of these team legends would be a good start.

As we approach the 2020 NFL Draft, one of the common areas of need for the Las Vegas Raiders has been the cornerback position. The need for quality secondary play has never been more critical than it is in today’s game and especially for the Raiders, who share a division with Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes.

So expect Las Vegas to seriously consider adding to the position in the first few rounds if the board allows them to. More often than not, you want to get cornerbacks early in the draft because that is a position where talent tends to consistently fall.

Not to say you can’t find players like Richard Sherman and Chris Harris Jr, but they are far the more the exception than the rule.

Now for the Raiders, they have had quite a few great cornerbacks play for them throughout their history, and as we approach the draft, it would be fun to look back some of those great draft picks. It is important to note that big-time names like Willie Brown and Mike Haynes will not be included on this list because they were not originally drafted by the Raiders.

So with that being said, let’s take a trip down memory lane.
