1. Chester McGlockton: 16th overall in 1992 NFL Draft

During his tenure with the Raiders, Chester McGlockton was one of the dominant forces on the interior in football. The former Clemson Tiger struggled to stay on the field in his rookie season but became a full-time starter in his second year and did not miss a game over the next five years. In those six years in Los Angeles and Oakland, McGlockton record 51 sacks, was named to the Pro Bowl four times, and made three appearances of the NFL All-Pro teams with one First Team nomination.

McGlockton was a mountain of a man that physically dominated opposing offensive lineman and had the quickness to rush the quarterback and the strength to stuff the run. He is fifth all-time on the Raiders in sacks with 39.5 and sixth in forced fumbles with 10 as the two usually go hand in hand.

After leaving Oakland in 1997, McGlockton played another six years in the NFL splitting time between Denver, Kansas City, and the New York Jets but he never reached the heights of his Pro Bowl seasons with the Raiders. Despite his relatively short tenure in Silver and Black he is still one of the greatest defensive players in the team’s history and the best interior defensive lineman to be drafted by the Raiders.
