The Las Vegas Raiders need a true WR1 at the top of their depth chart, and in our first draft prospect profile, we look at Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb.

It is no secret that the Las Vegas Raiders are desperate for wide receiver help this offseason. Trading a third round pick for Antonio Brown was a failed experiment and injuries left the Raiders receiver group in shambles for much of the 2019 season.

The Raiders chose to focus on the defense in free agency signing the likes or Cory Littleton and Maliek Collins along with several others to bolster a unit that was one of the worst in the league.

So that leads us to the assumption that the offense and the specifically the wide receiver position will be the focus of the draft. This receiver group is believed to be one of the best in recent memory and some teams believe that an impact player can be found all the way until the fifth round of the draft. That isn’t saying much however as many teams find diamonds in the rough late in the draft or through free agency especially at a position that relies on so many extraneous factors for production.

One of the top receivers, and perhaps the top receiver, in this year’s class is Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb. The Louisiana native has been mocked to the Raiders by several outlets with the number 12 pick so let’s take a dive in to Lamb’s resume and his potential fit with the Raiders.
