5 players the Raiders should avoid drafting in the 2020 NFL Draft
By Nick Ellis
Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia
If you looked at Bryce Hall’s film from two years ago, he would arguably be the second-rated corner in this class. What has affected Hall’s stock is his injury history, most recently coming off a broken ankle.
Hall will not go in the first round, but as previously stated, I believe the Raiders could trade back into the second round, and they have not shied away from making risky picks. Hall is a high-risk high reward player right now, but I am not sure if that is what the Raiders should be looking for right now.
Cornerback is certainly an issue heading into the 2020 NFL Draft, and Hall proved himself to be an elite cover corner during his time at Virginia. The bottom line is, they will likely attack this position group in the first round, and possibly later on Day 3 with one of their three third round picks, and Hall is not someone who is likely to fall outside of the first two rounds.
