Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU

Speaking of receivers with a lot of hype around them, I am not completely sold on Justin Jefferson. I have not seen Jefferson go to the Raiders in many mock drafts yet, but almost every mock draft has him going in the first round, which may be too steep.

Jefferson had a great season last year, gaining 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns, but in his previous season without Heisman trophy winner Joe Burrow throwing him the ball, his stat line looked a lot different. Jefferson recorded 875 yards and six touchdowns in 2018, which is nothing to be ashamed about, but it makes you wonder how much better Joe Burrow may have made him look than he actually is.

The Raiders are obviously going to target a wide receiver in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but inside the top-20 would be a reach for Jefferson. Sure, he is going to be a solid player at the next level, but the Raiders have to address this need early in round one, and there are better options available.
