Raiders fullback AlecIngold sat down recently to discuss his relationship with JoshJacobs, DerekCarr’s leadership, and much more.
With the 2020 NFL Draft nearly upon us, it’s a reminder of how strong of a draft class Mike Mayock was able to put together last season. Holding three first round picks, the Raiders were able to add to their roster in a big way, but they did not stop stacking talent once the draft was over.
In fact, one of the key pieces of their offense was brought in as an undrafted free agent, as fullback Alec Ingold became a building block on the offensive side of the ball. As you know, his path to the roster as an undrafted free agent was much different than guys like Clelin Ferrell, Foster Moreau, and Maxx Crosby, but his impact was the same.
As they say though, it doesn’t matter how you make it, once you are there it’s about sticking around for the long haul. Not only did Ingold make it but he is now a big part of the future of this organization as they embark on a new era in Las Vegas.
As a guest on Just Pod Baby with Evan Groat, I was fortunate enough to get a one on one interview with Ingold to discuss topics ranging from the excitement about playing in Las Vegas, to his relationship with Josh Jacobs, and his support for quarterback Derek Carr.
