Will the Raiders draft a wide receiver?

There is no doubt that the Raiders will draft at least one wide receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft, the question is where? Most believe that wide receiver is the biggest need on the Raiders roster, and for good reason.

If the Raiders decide to use the 12th pick of the draft on a receiver, they could end up with CeeDee Lamb, Jerry Jeudy, or Henry Ruggs. Any of these receivers have the ability to make an immediate impact, as all of them are great all-around players that have their own special skill-set that makes them stand out above the rest of the field.

If the Raiders decide to use the 19th pick of the draft on a wide receiver, they could possibly still get Henry Ruggs, although that is unlikely. Receivers such as Justin Jefferson out of LSU, Denzel Mims out of Baylor, Tee Higgins out of Clemson, Jalen Reagor out of TCU, and Laviska Shenault Jr out of Colorado will likely be available at pick 19, and any of these receivers could be the pick.

Mike Mayock has recently stated that there are receivers in the third round that could be WR1s, so if the Raiders do decide to wait until the third round, there is a chance they could end up with Chase Claypool out of Notre Dame or Michael Pittman Jr out of USC.

All of these players listed would be great additions to the Raiders roster, but I believe there is a great chance the Raiders will take a receiver with the 12th pick of Jerry Jeudy or CeeDee Lamb are still available.
