The Las Vegas Raiders are less likely to take a linebacker in the 2020 NFL Draft’s first round after free agency but Kenneth Murray is still an option

The Las Vegas Raiders made a big splash In free agency with the signings of Cory Littleton and Nick Kwiatkoski to three year deals To form the core of the linebacker group. Marquel Lee and Nicholas Morrow are also still on the roster to form a solid group but one that is certainly top-heavy.

There are also several free agents available on the market that could be had for a bargain, including former Raider Will Compton, with more options to come after teams make their final cuts before the regular season.

It has been well documented that GM Mike Mayock does not believe in reaching for need so he may opt to take the best player available regardless of position. The Raiders may also look to draft a stud linebacker to build out the group and give them a young star to develop over the course of the next decade.

If they choose to take that route then they should look no further than Kenneth Murray out of the University of Oklahoma. Murray put together an excellent college career as a three-year starter at Oklahoma and helped his stock with an impressive combined performance to solidify himself as a potential first round pick.

Let’s take a dive in to what makes Murray special and where he would fit with the Raiders.
