Heading into the 2020 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders need help at the cornerback position, and we take a look at the position group here.

If there is one area on the defense that needs help during the 2020 NFL Draft, it is the cornerback spot, where the team has failed to add talent this offseason. After missing out on the big-name free agents, the Raiders tried to land Eli Apple, but that deal fell through as well.

During the 2019 season, this was an area of concern, and while rookie Trayvon Mullen stepped up big time late in the season, he cannot do it all on his own in 2020. Daryl Worley played a big role on this defense last year, but he is gone, and Lamarcus Joyner could be moved back to safety after struggling as the nickel corner last season.

Without Worley, the Raiders have a serious lack of depth at cornerback, and will be looking to the younger guys to step up big time in 2020. This is one of the few weaknesses on this roster heading into the draft, so they will likely be aggressive in addressing it early and often over the next few days.

Isaiah Johnson and Keisean Nixon will get every chance to earn significant playing time in 2020, but this is a group that is lacking depth in a major way.
