BD Williams’s Final Raiders 7-round Mock Draft

Pick Analysis. CeeDeeLamb. Oklahoma Sooners. 12. player. 815. Scouting Report. Wide receiver

The Las Vegas Raiders get their number No. 1 wide receiver in Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb to kick off their 2020 NFL Draft. Going off of Mike Mayock’s selections in last years draft, it’s clear he values tough, physical, gritty football players, and the dynamic Lamb fits that bill.

Scouting Report. Cornerback. JeffGladney. 19. Pick Analysis. TCU Horned Frogs. player. 872

Another feisty player from the the Big 12 lands with the Raiders at pick No. 19, as the team addresses their need at cornerback. Jeff Gladney gets taken above other flashier names because of his mastery playing the press man technique that defensive coordinator Paul Guenther coaches, and his willingness to mix it up.

Linebacker. 80. Scouting Report. MalikHarrison. player. 812. Pick Analysis. Ohio State Buckeyes

Keeping with the theme of tough and physical football players, you’re not going to find a linebacker who fills the run with more aggression than Ohio State’s Malik Harrison. While the Raiders have done a nice job adding to the linebacker group this offseason, Harrison is the final piece to that puzzle.

Scouting Report. Wide receiver. BryanEdwards. player. Pick Analysis. South Carolina Gamecocks. 81. 850

The definition of a Gruden grinder, the Raiders continue to add to the wide receiver room by bringing in Bryan Edwards from South Carolina. He catches everything, and when the ball is in his hands, he’s looking to make guys pay for tackling him, something Raiders fans will come to love.

91. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. BryceHall. player. 888. Cornerback. Virginia Cavaliers

A big physical cornerback who plays with an incredible amount of effort, Virginia’s Bryce Hall had been in the discussion as a possible first round pick prior to the 2019 college football season. This kid is a  ball hawk who led the FBS in passes defensed a year before his injury, and he joins a revamped cornerback room in Las Vegas here in the third round.

Scouting Report. Memphis Tigers. player. 858. Pick Analysis. Running back. AntonioGibson. 121

Josh Jacobs was a perfect fit for the Raiders last year, and in 2020, they get their change of pace back to pair with him moving forward. Antonio Gibson split time at wide receiver at Memphis, so his pass catching skills are well refined, and he is not too shabby toting the rock as well.

Pick Analysis. Gurad. Scouting Report. Michigan Wolverines. BenBredeson. 159. player. 811

The Raiders will need someone to start at guard down the line when Richie Incognito hangs it up. Given the turnover at this position last year due to injuries, it would be wise to grab a guy like a Ben Bredeson, who plays with a chip on his shoulder, and is downright nasty.
