Will Utah State become the next prospect pipeline for the Raiders? For all the noise coming out of the media of the Raiders being in love with Jordan Love, they ended up signing a bunch of his teammates as undrafted free agents.

With Dominik Eberle’s and Mariner’s signings, the Silver and Black now have four former Aggies on the roster. Nevin Lawson and Dallin Leavitt are the other two. For those wondering, Nelson Agholor is the only former Trojan on the roster, so let the scoreboard show: Utah St 4 and USC 1.

Las Vegas was expected to find some competition for Daniel Carlson this offseason, and that’s exactly what Eberle brings to the table. He never missed an extra point in college and had a career field goal percentage of 79.0. In comparison, Carlson missed two PATs and converted on 73.1 percent of his kicks last season.

The Utah State product also handled kick off duties for the Aggies, so this will be an interesting training camp battle. Albeit, certainly not the most fun to watch.

There aren’t many scouting reports available for kickers, however, it is interesting to note that Drafttek.com ranked Eberle as the best kicker in the draft class, ahead of Lou Groza Award winner, Rodrigo Blankenship.
