Las Vegas Raiders add more talent with their 2020 UDFA class

Siaosi Mariner

The Raiders were clearly set out to acquire every college wide receiver under the sun. As previously mentioned, the team spent three out of their first four selections on wideouts, technically 2.33 with Bowden, and added another by signing Siaosi Mariner out of Utah State.

Before joining the Aggies as a graduate transfer last season, Mariner played in the PAC 12 at the University of Utah. He redshirted and played three seasons for the Utes and accumulated 42 receptions for 785 yards and four touchdowns. Changing schools did wonders for the Tustin, CA native as got more playing time in Logan and hauled in 63 receptions for 987 yards and 10 touchdowns last year.

With so many additions to the receiving corps, Mariner is long-shot to make the 53-man roster in 2020 and will likely spend a year or two on the practice squad. However, if he can prove himself on special teams and win over Rich Bisaccia, the wideout will be someone to keep an eye on in August.
