Starters

Assuming the Raiders are lining up in a three receiver set, the starting trio should be quite obvious and is follows:

  • Tyrell Williams
  • Henry Ruggs III
  • Hunter Renfrow

Tyrell Williams was on a tear early in the season, catching a touchdown in each of the first five games. He went through an injury-induced lull where he missed two games and was never quite the same. Williams topped 100 yards receiving just once and struggled with the spotlight of being the number one receiver but should be getting less attention in 2020 with the new offensive weaponry around him.

Hunter Renfrow retains his starting position at slot WR after a strong rookie campaign that saw him record 49 catches for 605 yards and 4 touchdowns in 13 games. The former fifth round pick suffered a broken rib and a punctured lung against the Jets in Week 12 and missed the following three games recovering.

He came back strong however, saving his best performances for last as he closed out the season with a pair of 100-yard performances against two division rivals. Third and Renfrow should only get better in his sophomore season.

Lastly, we have Henry Ruggs III, the crown jewel of the Raiders draft class slots into the other outside receiver position opposite Tyrell Williams. You don’t spend a first round pick on a skill position player unless you think he can contribute right away and the Raiders will hope that Ruggs and his world class speed will do just that.
