Can the Las Vegas Raiders 2020 rookie class live up to their numbers?

#11: WR Henry Ruggs III – K Sebastian Janikowski

The name known lovingly as Seabass by Raider Nation is the only choice here for the number 11 jersey. Sebastian Janikowski was drafted in the first round of the 2000 NFL Draft and spent the next 17 years with the Silver and Black before being released.

Janikowski left the Raiders as the organization’s all-time leading scorer by almost 1,000 points and the career leader in games played by nearly two seasons. Kickers don’t usually make the Hall of Fame but he is possibly the greatest kicker in the history of a team with a lot of great kickers.

If Henry Ruggs plays with the Raiders for 17 years he probably won’t sniff the scoring totals that Janikowski put up but if he makes a few Pro Bowls and asserts himself as one of the better receivers I the league he could convince Raider Nation to associate number 11 with his sleek frame versus Janikowski’s beefy one.

The speedy receiver has been compared to Tyreek Hill so a resume similar to the Kansas City speedster, including of course the Super Bowl ring, would go a long away towards making him the best number 11 to wear Silver and Black.
