The 90-man roster is nearly set for the Las Vegas Raiders. Now, it’s time for the players who are on it to start battling it out.

Free Agency is over, the NFL Draft came and went, and it appears the Las Vegas Raiders have their undrafted free agent class in place. General manager Mike Mayock and head coach Jon Gruden have addressed all the team’s needs and added a lot of talent to the roster this offseason.

Now, all that’s left is to let the position battles commence and see who rises to the top.

This season’s starting lineups will look a lot different from a year ago for the Raiders. Linebacker and cornerback are two positions that come to mind as the 2019 Week 1 starters at those positions are no longer on the roster. Daryl Worley is on the Cowboys, Gareon Conley was traded to the Texans, while Tahir Whitehead signed with the Panthers and Vontaze Burfict is still looking for work.

Not as dramatic as the defense, but the offense received a facelift this offseason as well. Rookies Henry Ruggs III, Bryan Edwards, and Lynn Bowden are all expected to have a significant impact in 2020. But first, they’ll have to prove themselves in practice.

As we inch closer to training camp, whenever that may be, the position battles will pick up steam, and here are five to keep an eye on.
