The Las Vegas Raiders are poised to make a playoff run in 2020, but in order to do so, these five individuals have to be great.

The Las Vegas Raiders inaugural season is right around the corner, and while there are many familiar faces, there are also a significant amount of new ones. Raiders general manager Mike Mayock and head coach Jon Gruden sat down this offseason and took a long hard look at this team, the needs, and must-have’s in order to continue building.

Through free agency and the 2020 NFL Draft, the Raiders added talent and speed to all three areas of the ball. On defense, they shored up the linebacker group, bringing in talented guys who can cover in Nick Kwiatkoski and Cory Littleton. They also invested in the secondary by drafting Damon Arnette in the first round.

On offense, Henry Ruggs III was the team’s first of two first round picks, and he brings something special to their wide receiver group. In the third round, they also added South Carolina star Bryan Edwards, giving quarterback Derek Carr two new weapons to utilize in the passing game.

With the new additions to the team looking to make a serious impact on the field, I take a look at five Raiders who need to be great in 2020.
