Week 5: Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs

I look at this as a good news, bad news game for the Las Vegas. The good news is the contest is early enough in the year that the weather shouldn’t be much of a factor. However, the Super Champs return just about everyone from the year before and will still be the league’s top dog until proven otherwise.

Week 7: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Las Vegas Raiders

It could be a very ugly start for Las Vegas in its inaugural season as the first three home opponents are extremely challenging. The Bucs won the Tom Brady sweepstakes and added arguably the best tight end of all-time in Rob Gronkowski, to complement former All-Pros Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Also, having an offense that takes better care of the ball should give their defense a boost.

Week 8: Las Vegas Raiders at Cleveland Browns

How much of an impact will new head coach Kevin Stefanski make in year one? Freddie Kitchens appears to be the scapegoat in Cleveland, but the team had more problems than who was in charge last season. Until the Browns prove that they’re no longer the Browns, I’ll give the Silver and Black the benefit of the doubt here.

53. Prediction. 24. 28. 16

Week 9: Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers are an interesting enigma this season. They have one of the most talented rosters top to bottom, however, Los Angeles has big questions along the offensive line, and most importantly, at quarterback. I’d expect Justin Herbert to take over at this point in the year, and his inexperience is something Las Vegas should be able to take advantage of.
