Week 10: Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders

It might take until November but finally, Las Vegas gets to see its first victory! As much as I hate to admit it, for the second year in a row, I like what the Broncos have done in the draft. Denver added a lot of speed on the outside with Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler, but that’s not going to matter if the team’s shaky offensive line can’t hold up and quarterback Drew Lock doesn’t develop quickly. I like the Raiders’ odds here at home.

Week 11: Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders

There’s already a bunch of hype surrounding this rivalry and adding Sunday Night Football into the mix only adds to the magnitude of the matchup. Las Vegas should be able to make this a fun game to watch, however, and as previously mentioned, Kansas City’s talent will be difficult to overcome. Maybe the Silver and Black can get a little luck on their side and pull off the upset.

Week 12: Las Vegas Raiders at Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta is another wildcard heading into the 2020 season. The Falcons have had talented rosters the last couple of years, but finished with pedestrian 7-9 records in 2018 and 2019. This will likely be a make or break campaign for head coach Dan Quinn and personally, I don’t have a lot of faith in him.

Week 13: Las Vegas Raiders at New York Jets

At first glance, I thought this matchup would be a slam dunk win for Las Vegas. However, a December game in New York means cold weather is on the horizon and until Derek Carr proves otherwise, he can’t be relied upon in those conditions. Also, the Jets are far from a bad team as they have plenty of talent on defense and quarterback Sam Darnold should be coming into his own in year three.
