Week 14: Indianapolis Colts at Las Vegas Raiders

Would it even be a real season for the Raiders without hosting Philip Rivers at some point? He might be wearing a different uniform this season, but the old man can’t erase the ugly film he put out there last year. Personally, I think it was a bit of a desperation move by Indianapolis to bring in the aging veteran, but nonetheless, Rivers is a Colt and I think he’ll hold their team back in 2020.

Week 15: Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Raiders

It’s kind of fitting that the game after playing the former Chargers’ quarterback, Los Angeles comes into town. Again, who is under center for the Bolts will play a significant role in this matchup, and if it is Herbert, a short week will be less than ideal for them. Given the situation, I think Las Vegas pulls off the sweep for the second year in a row.

Week 16: Miami Dolphins at Las Vegas Raiders

Miami could be a very fun team to watch in 2020. They ended last season winning five out of their last nine games and added 11 players through the draft, six of which were top-100 picks. However, that also means the Dolphins will have a very young squad which typically results in fluctuating performances. Las Vegas as a team should be much more stable and walk away with a victory here.

Week 17: Las Vegas Raiders at Denver Broncos

For the second year in a row, the Silver and Black will close out the year in Denver. The last time the team won in the Mile High City was 2015 when Khalil Mack and his five sack performance carried the team to victory. Again, I like the additions the Broncos have made this offseason and I think splitting the regular-season series is a reasonable assumption at this point.

Next. Easiest stretch of the Las Vegas Raiders 2020 schedule. dark

While one game above .500 may not be what Raider Nation is hoping for during the inaugural season in Sin City, it’s nothing to be ashamed of. That would mean the team finishes two wins better than the year before, which is a step in the right direction.

Also, with the playoffs expanding to 14 teams, nine wins could be enough to snag a Wild Card spot as the seventh-place team in each conference last year finished with that record.

Final Record: 9-7
