3 available free agents who make sense for the Las Vegas Raiders

Everson Griffen, Edge Rusher
One of the better edge rushers still available is Everson Griffen, who is coming off a Pro Bowl season with the Minnesota Vikings. The 32-year-old veteran might be a little up there in age, but he may be the second-best available behind Jadeveon Clowney.
However, Clowney’s asking price is way too high for the Raiders to make a run at him, so Griffen makes more sense. The commitment to Griffen would not be a long-term one, and he would be a much cheaper option than Clowney, who has turned down some lucrative offers already this offseason.
Griffen has been dominant over the last five seasons, and in 2019 he was still very productive, providing eight sacks for the Vikings. Las Vegas has already added Carl Nassib, and they have two solid young edge rushers in Maxx Crosby and Clelin Ferrell, but behind those three, Arden Key is a question mark. If they can get Griffen on a team-friendly deal, he still has a lot left in the tank.
