WR Tim Brown

The Raiders wide receiver has gone from one of the weakest groups on the team to a possible strength thanks to the team’s investments towards the position in free agency and the NFL Draft. They added veteran Nelson Agholor to the mix and drafted three players in the first three rounds of the draft who will at some point be lining up out wide in Lynn Bowden Jr, Henry Ruggs III, and Bryan Edwards.

All of these players could make an impact and one of the rookies could emerge but the team is still missing a clear number one receiver. Who better to be the number one in 2020 than the number one receiver in Raiders history?

Tim Brown’s career is truly incredible by any statistical measure and gets more impressive the more you dig in to it. His list of accomplishments could take all day to get through but some of the highlights include being number one in every Raiders receiving category, second all-time in games played for the Raiders, nine Pro Bowls, three All-Pro selections, not missing a game in 10 years, nine straight 1,000 yard seasons, and being top-10 in NFL history in every major receiving category.

Simply put, Tim Brown is one of the best receivers in NFL history.

The Raiders have focused on building up the offensive weapons around QB Derek Carr and adding a player the caliber of Tim Brown would not only make the quarterback’s life much easier but would open things up for every other member of the offense.
