Maliek Collins

The Raiders seemed to have a strong love for picking apart the Dallas Cowboys this offseason, as they not only added their defensive coordinator/defensive line coach Rod Marinelli, but also brought in defensive tackle Maliek Collins. In total, the Raiders added four players who were on the Cowboys 2019 roster.

The best of the bunch may very well be Collins, who is going to slide right in on a very talented and young Raiders defensive line. The 2019 season was a breakout of sort for Collins, even if it was below the radar, as he rounded into one of the more productive defensive tackles in football.

His 77.7 pass rusher grade ranked him eighth among all interior linemen, and he added 48 pressures, which would have led the Raiders. For his efforts, Collins recorded the fourth-highest-pass-rush win rate in the entire league, and he only trailed superstars Aaron Donald, Chris Jones and Grady Jarrett in this category.

After signing a one-year deal with the Raiders, it is great value for an elite interior lineman who only recently turned 25. Raider Nation should expect a big season out of the big man from Nebraska.
