The Las Vegas Raiders secondary faces some elite quarterbacks in 2020, and the revamped group will be tested early and often.

The Las Vegas Raiders made it a point to revamp their secondary, especially at cornerback, this offseason, shedding guys like Daryl Worley and Nick Nelson, while replacing them with first round draft pick Damon Arnette from Ohio State, fourth rounder Amik Robertson, and a solid veteran in Prince Amukamara.

Hopefully, the addition of these three corners will help elevate a position group that has struggled mightily in recent memory. The Raiders also got better at safety, adding Jeff Heath and Damarious Randall to the mix, and will have a healthy Johnathan Abram, who missed most of last season, back for the start of training camp.

This is a much better group than it was a year ago, and if Abram is the kind of player he showed in a short sample in 2019, and Lamarcus Joyner can rekindle the magic that made the Raiders sign him to a big deal, they have more depth at corner and safety than they have had in a long time.

In order for the Raiders to make some noise in a packed AFC, they are going to have to show they can defend against some of the elite quarterbacks in the league.
