Kansas City Chiefs

The Super Bowl champs were up against the salary cap, and did not have much money to work with via free agency, so their biggest offseason moves in free agency were re-signing players. The biggest of these moves was the Chiefs giving the franchise tag to Pro Bowl defensive tackle Chris Jones instead of letting him walk via free agency.

The Chiefs were also able to keep one of their receiving threats in Demarcus Robinson on a one-year deal, with their biggest loss being starting cornerback Kendall Fuller, who signed a contract with the Washington Redskins. Kansas City added some nice depth pieces in offensive tackle Mike Remmers, and former Oakland Raiders running back DeAndre Washington, who can be a sparkplug in any offense.

During the 2020 NFL Draft, the Chiefs haul was highlighted by First-Team All-SEC running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire. The thick-bodied, 5-foot-7 back was a load to bring down at LSU, and will look to bring a new dimension into the already high-powered Chiefs offense led by All Pro quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
