Top Five in Miles Traveled

With that five-game stretch away from home (including a pit stop across the pond) it’s no surprise that the Raiders led the league in miles traveled last year. This season? They’re no longer number one, but they haven’t been given any favors as well. As noted by CBS Sports, Las Vegas will travel the fifth-most miles of any team in 2020.

Of those miles traveled, the most notable instances will be when Las Vegas travels to the east coast for the early 10am PST / 1pm EST matchups. The New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons, and New York Jets don’t appear too difficult on paper, but their matchups with the Raiders fall in that timeframe.

It will be imperative for Jon Gruden to get his players ready and able to execute during these stretches on the calendar. If Las Vegas can weather the miles traveled, they will be in solid shape throughout the season.
