The Las Vegas Raiders enter a huge year in terms of their franchise’s history, and these five guys are on the hot seat entering the 2020 season.

As a team, the Raiders made big strides in 2019, finishing with a 7-9 record.  Although the record indicates another losing season, they were mathematically still alive for a playoff spot in the final weeks of the season, something that has not been the case in a long time.

Now, as the 2020 season approaches and the franchise moves into their new home in Las Vegas, expectations are high. On paper, the team has the makings of a playoff-caliber team, but it is whether or not they can put it together and execute on the field which is the big question.

Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock have done a commendable job building the roster into a competitive one with depth at all positions.  Two of those areas are along the defensive line and in the secondary.

Through the draft and free agency they have invested heavily in upgrading in the trenches, in the secondary, and at the wide receiver position.  Because of this, there are five players who are squarely on the hot seat heading into the 2020 campaign.
