6 Raiders players who deserved to win a Super Bowl

Tim Brown, Wide Receiver, 1988-2003

Another Heisman-winning draft pick for the Raiders, Tim Brown became the first wide receiver to win the award during his time at Notre Dame, and the team made him the No. 6 overall pick in the 1988 NFL Draft. Brown was electric from the get-go with the Raiders, making the Pro Bowl as a return man as a rookie, which began a run that saw him named a Pro Bowler nine times.

One of the more productive wideouts in NFL history, Brown racked up 99 touchdowns, 14,374 yards, and 1,070 receptions during his time in the Silver and Black. All three of those are records that will not be touched anytime soon, and he currently ranks in the top-10 in league history in all three of those statistical categories.

Brown would finish his NFL career with Jon Gruden in Tampa Bay, recording his 100th touchdown and was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was able to be so productive with the Raiders despite having a revolving door at quarterback for so many years before Rich Gannon showed up, and seeing him win a ring with the team would have been the icing on an all-time career.
