With new additions through the draft and free agency, the Las Vegas Raiders have become more versatile on offense. What questions lie ahead should the Raiders hope to make another jump in 2020?

In 2019 the Raiders ranked ninth and 13th respectively in total passing yards and rushing yards accumulated over the course of the season. In terms of translating those yards gained into points on the board, the Raiders finished 24th in total points scored.

Case in point: Las Vegas could move the ball downfield, but still sought some key playmakers to help put them over the top.

Fast forward to 2020, and the hope is that with the additions from the draft and free agency, Jon Gruden is ready to take this offense to the next level. One knows he’ll need to when you have the reigning champion Kansas City Chiefs as the benchmark, whom Las Vegas will see twice next season.

To match up with their AFC West rival, the Raiders offense got more versatile and to the pleasure of the late Al Davis, got faster after the offseason. But what questions lie ahead that could keep Las Vegas from reaching that potential?

Here are the questions that will need to be answered as we approach the 2020 season.
