2020 Las Vegas Raiders 53-man roster projection entering summer

Running Back (4): Josh Jacobs, Jalen Richard, Lynn Bowden Jr, Alec Ingold

The Raiders have a versatile running back group with Josh Jacobs, Jalen Richard, Lynn Bowden Jr, and possibly Devontae Booker. Jacobs is a back that can do it all, and has the ability to be a top-five player at his position as he enters Year 2.

Jalen Richard recently signed a new contract, and has been one of the best pass-catching backs in the league for a couple years now. The Raiders also drafted Lynn Bowden Jr, a player that can play multiple positions, and he will be used in a Joker role in Gruden’s offense as a rookie.

The Raiders signed Booker as a free agent this offseason, and he is a player that will have to fight for his spot and prove his worth. I do not believe Booker will make the team considering he is a pass-catching back, and Richard and Bowden should be more than enough in that category.

The only way I could see the Raiders adding another back to this group is if they brought in a power back, but fullback Alec Ingold has filled that role nicely when called upon.
