2020 Las Vegas Raiders 53-man roster projection entering summer

Wide Receiver (6): Henry Ruggs III, Tyrell Williams, Hunter Renfrow, Bryan Edwards, Nelson Agholor, Zay Jones

The Raiders have created a much improved wide receiver group from last year, adding size, speed, and depth. Henry Ruggs III became the first Raider drafted in the Las Vegas era, as the team took him as the first wide receiver overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Ruggs will add incredible speed to a team that lacked it last season, as well as great route running ability and hands. The team also drafted Bryan Edwards, a big target that thrives in 50/50 balls, and during his time at South Carolina, he was the school’s all-time leading receiver.

Nelson Agholor was brought in via free agency, and the Raiders have two very solid options returning in Tyrell Williams and Hunter Renfrow. Zay Jones came over via trade in 2019, and while he underwhelmed, he has certainly been putting the work in with Carr recently.

Thanks to all these moves, the wideout group could go from a weakness to a strength in 2020.
