2020 Las Vegas Raiders 53-man roster projection entering summer

Defensive End (4): Clelin Ferrell, Carl Nassib, Maxx Crosby, Arden Key

Out of all the groups the Raiders have on the defensive side of the ball, this one appears to have the least amount of depth. The star of the group is Maxx Crosby, who had an incredible rookie season, leading the team in sacks and proving to be the steal of the draft.

On the other side, rookie Clelin Ferrell by no means had a bad season, but he did not perform to the level that the team would have liked. The fourth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, Ferrell was played out of position early on, before coming back to play his best football late in the season for the Raiders.

This offseason, the team added defensive end Carl Nassib, a player who has shown a decent ability to get to the quarterback, but has never performed at a particularly high level. The final player in this group is Arden Key, a player with injury problems that has shown glimpses of potential, but has yet to break through.

Look for the Raiders to add another defensive end in free agency soon, and there are some good options still on the market if the team wants to spend the money.
