2020 Las Vegas Raiders 53-man roster projection entering summer

Linebacker (6): Nick Kwiatkoski, Cory Littleton, Marquel Lee, Nicholas Morrow, Kyle Wilber, Tanner Muse

The Raiders linebacker group changed from a weakness to a strength during free agency, as the team added both Cory Littleton and Nick Kwiatkoski to the team. These two players will be the best linebackers the Raiders have had in a long time, as the team finally addressed the issue after years and years of awful linebacker play.

The best thing about both these guys is the fact that they can cover, something Raiders linebackers have struggled to do recently. Kwiatkoski is going to wear the green dot this season for defensive coordinator Paul Guenther, and Raiders fans should be excited about what this duo is going to do in his defense.

The team will likely also bring back Marquel Lee, Nicholas Morrow, and possible Kyle Wilber to the team. The Raiders also drafted former Clemson player Tanner Muse, a player who will likely be used mainly on special teams, but could surprise some people and see the field more often than expected.

Overall, the linebackers have been atrocious for the Raiders in recent years, but in 2020, they just may have the talent, and depth to make plays against the pass, which would be a nice change.
