Las Vegas Raiders 2020 post-draft position review: Offensive Line

New Additions

The biggest addition to this Raiders roster in terms of the offensive line has got to be John Simpson, who was selected by the organization with one of their two fourth round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft. Simpson was an All-American for the Clemson Tigers, a program Mike Mayock loves to pick guys from, and also served as a team captain.

Looking at his body of work in the ACC, Simpson was a steal in the fourth round, and will definitely take over for either Jackson or Incognito sooner than later. In fact, once the team drafted Simpson, many believed that Jackson would be on his way out, but having him play behind two veterans is better for him in the long run.

Kamaal Seymour was added as a UDFA out of Rutgers, and during his time with the Scarlet Knights he was not only a four-year starter, but also a three-time Academic All-Big 10 selection. Sam Young and Eric Kush are two veterans who have proven to be worth keeping around, as they have started games in the past and can step in when needed.
