With 79 days until the opening game of 2020, we start the count down with the best Raiders player at every jersey number. Today we focus on No. 79.

With the season a few months away, we take a look at the best player to wear the jersey number of the number of days left before the opener on September 13, 2020 against the Carolina Panthers. That game will kick off the new era of Raiders football.

We continue our series with No. 79.

In 1998, the team made Mo Collins the No. 23 overall pick, adding the powerful offensive lineman from Florida. He became an instant starter at tackle, before moving to the inside at guard, and would play his entire six-year career with the Raiders franchise.

Bob Golic did not start his career with the franchise, but he finished up with them, helping key a Raiders defense that landed in the AFC title game. He started 53 of his 57 appearance in the Silver and Black, and had 8.5 sacks from his defensive tackle spot.

However, our top Raider to wear the No. 79 played his entire career with the team, and was a talented offensive lineman for the Silver and Black.
