Las Vegas Raiders go defense early in 7-round 2021 mock draft

During the 2018 NFL Draft, the then-Oakland Raiders made a big investment at defensive tackle, selecting both P.J. Hall and Maurice Hurst. Since then, they have added talented players like Johnathan Hankins and Maliek Collins to the position group, one that could be a strength for the team this season.

Still, the Raiders should have an eye on the position entering 2021, as it is a make-or-break year for Hall. In addition, Hankins will be a free agent after the 2020 NFL season, so it would make sense that they could land a guy like Aubrey Solomon from Tennessee in the fourth round.

Solomon, who was highly recruited out of high school, played for Michigan before transferring to Tennessee. He had a solid first season with the Vols, and in 2020, he will prove to be a disruptive players in the SEC, punching his ticket to be a legitimate NFL prospect when the 2021 NFL Draft rolls around.
