Five fictional players that could help the Las Vegas Raiders

Willie Beamen, QB: Any Given Sunday

When Jack “Cap” Rooney and his backup Tyler Cherubini went down in the same game, third-string journeyman Willie Beamen stepped in, threw up and the rest was history. Beamen, easily the most electrifying quarterback in movie history is the movie equivalent to DeShaun Watson, quick on his feet with substantial arm power.

Beamen is a multi-threat quarterback who acts quickly on the fly to create a play. One concern about Beamen is his ego, and knowing the philosophy of the Las Vegas Raiders that no one player is above the team, as demonstrated with the abrupt dismissal of disgraced wideout Antonio Brown, it would be interesting to see if Beamen could behave in his interactions with the Raiders brass.

With Beamen under center, Coach Gruden must be willing to allow Beamen to utilize his improvisational skills in order to be successful. The Raiders fan base is looking for a quarterback who is not afraid to take shots downfield, and use his legs to make plays happen, so they would get their guy in Beamen.
