As divisional foes, the Broncos and Raiders will play twice this season, and we review Denver’s offseason, and how the Raiders can beat them in 2020.
As they do every season, the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders battled it out twice in 2019, playing in Week 1 to open the year, and then in Week 17 to close out the slate. The Raiders got the best of Denver in the Week 1 matchup, beating the Broncos in primetime in front of the Oakland faithful.
Later on in the year, the Raiders were not as lucky, as Denver’s rookie quarterback Drew Lock led the team to a victory, 16-15 in the final week of the season. Lock stepped in for the injured Joe Flacco and played extremely well in Year 1, taking over as the starter, and looking like a true franchise guy for the Broncos.
As we turn the page to the 2020 season, both teams got significantly better during the offseason, and both will be looking to knock the Kansas City Chiefs off of their perch atop the AFC West. The biggest question is whether or not Lock is the real deal, as the team brought in a ton of weapons for him this year, and only time will tell what he will actually become.
Here is a look at the 2020 Broncos offseason, and how the Raiders can beat them this upcoming season.
