Las Vegas Raiders still have options at cornerback via free agency

Aqib Talib

This is where it starts to be a business and not personal, as Aqib Talib has a checkered history when it comes to the Raiders franchise. We can all remember him and Michael Crabtree getting into it back in 2017, as the two fought it out during a November matchup, and then were both suspended two games.

Still, Talib is available for a few reasons, and the Raiders should at least bring him in for a workout. A five-time Pro Bowler, being named every season from 2013 through 2017, Talib is 34-years old, but he could bring the kind of veteran presence to this cornerback room that the team is currently lacking.

Injuries have hurt his production the last two season, and when you couple that with his age, that is the reason he is still available in early July. Maybe he is done, but he is only two years removed from being a Pro Bowl player, and on a roster with no Pro Bowlers at the position, Las Vegas should kick the tires on him.
