Las Vegas Raiders still have options at cornerback via free agency

Logan Ryan

One of the bigger head-scratchers of this free agency class is Logan Ryan, who is fresh off a 16-start season for a team that went to the AFC Championship Game. Ryan, who won two Super Bowls with the New England Patriots, is still only 29-years old, and had four interceptions with the Tennessee Titans last season.

The problem here is that Ryan appears to be asking for too much money, so the Raiders would have to move some pieces around if they wanted to add him. The former third round pick out of Rutgers apparently wants no less than $10 million per year according to Ian Rapoport, a national reporter for the NFL Network, and the team may not want to make that kind of investment.

The last time we saw Ryan, he was picking off Tom Brady’s last pass as a New England Patriot in the AFC’s Wildcard round inside Gillette Stadium. The Raiders play Brady and his new team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season, so maybe Ryan will get another chance to do so wearing the Silver and Black.
