Derek Carr has heard all the rumors, but after building around him, the Las Vegas Raiders are going to get the best version of him in 2020.

Ever since being selected in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft, former Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr has been the man under center for the Raiders franchise. Since then, he has shattered plenty of Raiders records in terms of passing, but one thing has eluded him, and that is consistently winning.

Sure, there was the 2016 season, when Carr played at an All-Pro level, and looked to have his team primed for a Super Bowl run before breaking his leg on Christmas Eve. The break ended any chance for the Raiders to win in the playoffs, and since then, it has been a battle to get back to .500.

Entering the 2020 season, there are plenty of reasons to believe that Carr will not only have another solid season statistically, but that the wins are on the horizon. The team has done a tremendous job adding talent around him, and as the team moves to their new digs in Las Vegas, there will be plenty of excitement surrounding the franchise on a national level.

Here is why the Raiders are going to get the best version of Carr in 2020.
