With 65 days until the opening game of 2020, we start the count down with the best Raiders player at every jersey number. Today we focus on No. 65.

With the season a few months away, we take a look at the best player to wear the jersey number of the number of days left before the opener on September 13, 2020 against the Carolina Panthers. That game will kick off the new era of Raiders football.

We continue our series with No. 65.

The No. 65 has been worn by some excellent members of the organization, including three who were not only durable during their time with the team, but helped pave the way for some explosive offenses. Barry Sims played with the franchise from 1999 through 2007, showing versatility, as he was utilized at both guard and tackle.

Mickey Marvin played his entire career in the Silver and Black, teaming with guys like Dave Dalby and Gene Upshaw to solidify the middle of a Raiders offensive line that won two Super Bowls. Max Montoya began his career in Cincinnati, but finished with the Raiders for the final five seasons, making the Pro Bowl as a 37-year old in 1993.

The best Raiders player to wear No. 65, however, did not win a Super Bowl, but during the AFL days, was one of the best offensive linemen there was.
