Las Vegas Raiders: 4 things to expect from pass catchers in 2020
The Las Vegas Raiders revamped the wide receivers and tight ends this offseason, here are four things we can expect from both position groups in 2020
By the end of the 2020 season the Raiders wide receiver and tight end groups were vastly different than projected during training camp. The wide receiver group was a revolving door after the release of Antonio Brown and Ryan Grant, both projected starters in August, as the Raiders traded away late-round picks to try and fill those holes.
As for the tight end group, Darren Waller was the unquestioned starter but an injury to Foster Moreau who was coming in to his own lead to some minor reshuffling to fill out the position group. Both the tight end and wide receiver group were major targets for the Raiders coming in to the offseason and their moves in free agency and the NFL Draft reflected that.
There is some continuity at both positions but Derek Carr will be throwing passes to some unfamiliar hands in training camp and beyond. With all of the new faces on the team, some of whom will certainly not be on the team come Week 1, what can we expect when the 2020 season kicks off?
