Las Vegas Raiders: 6 Free agents that could compete for starting jobs

Logan Ryan, CB, 29

We covered the fit for the Raiders and Logan Ryan in a previous piece and though they went out and signed Prince Amukamara there is still a possible place on the roster for the former Tennessee Titan. Ryan was part of a solid Titans defense in 2019 that advanced to the AFC Championship game and shut down both the Patriots and Ravens on their way to the title game.

Ryan has 17 interceptions in his career including four in 2019 and was ranked as the top cornerback on the market by several outlets coming in to the offseason. He is a versatile player that can line up at any of the CB positions and can even play safety so he could provide a level of depth at several positions in addition to starting.

Early in the offseason it was reported that Ryan was looking for a deal worth $10 million a year but with all of the uncertainty of this offseason he may need to settle a shorter and cheaper deal so he can stay employed. The Raiders have a young CB group with some intriguing options but they would do well to give Ryan a call.
