Las Vegas Raiders: 6 Free agents that could compete for starting jobs

Nigel Bradham, LB, 30

The Raiders spent a pretty penny on linebackers and dramatically upgraded the position with the addition of Nick Kwiatkoski and Cory Littleton but the third linebacker is still a question mark. We can expect the Raiders to line up in two LB formations to make room for an extra defensive back but in a base three linebacker formation they will be relying on Nicholas Morrow or Marquel Lee to start.

Both Morrow and Lee are serviceable players but there is room for improvement and that is where Nigel Bradham comes in. Bradham was most recently with the Philadelphia Eagles and can play either middle linebacker or outside linebacker so can come in an immediately challenge Morrow for the starting SLB role. Bradham brings some size and experience to the position and can be called on fill in at any of the LB positions.

A LB trio of Kwiatkoski, Littleton, and Bradham would be an excellent mix of young playmakers and veteran savvy and could help make the position an even greater strength for the Raiders in 2020. Bradham is still only 30 and has played at least 12 games since 2016 so he can be counted on to be a consistent presence in the middle of the Las Vegas defense.
