Las Vegas Raiders could look a whole lot different in 2021
Depth along the offensive line
One big thing that hurt the Raiders last season was injuries along the offensive line, as nearly all five starters missed at least some time due to injury. Luckily for the team in 2020, they have some strong depth behind the returning starters, giving them one of the better overall units in the game.
Having all five guys back and starting is huge for the Raiders as they make their move to Vegas, but as we saw in 2019, they need to make sure the backups are strong. The drafting of John Simpson out of Clemson is a long-term play, but there are also some guys who will need a solid season if they want to be a part of the long-term solution as well.
Denzelle Good and David Sharpe have been solid contributors to the Raiders, and should both make the team in 2020. Jordan Devey is a versatile interior lineman who is also entering his final season with the Silver and Black, and will be pushed in terms of making the roster by guys like Erik Magnuson, Simpson, and Lester Cotton. Magnuson and Cotton are also entering a free agent year.
