2020 Las Vegas Raiders 53-man roster projection entering training camp

Wide Receiver (6): Henry Ruggs III, Tyrell Williams, Hunter Renfrow, Bryan Edwards, Nelson Agholor, Zay Jones

There should be little surprise here as the Raiders will likely bring back their top three wide receivers from 2019, Tyrell Williams, Hunter Renfrow, and Zay Jones. Williams is the starting number two receiver, and Renfrow has a stranglehold on the slot role, but there are plenty of questions after that.

Henry Ruggs III will be penciled in as the starter opposite Williams and the team expects big things from him, and fellow rookie Bryan Edwards, who has a similar build and skill set to Williams. If the team goes with five wide receivers rather than six it will be fascinating to see if the Raiders go with Zay Jones or Nelson Agholor.

Jones has been working out with Derek Carr since the offseason began, and that may be the key factor in him beating out Agholor, who the Raiders have little financial investment in. The other guys like Marcell Ateman and Rico Gafford should end up on the practice squad as usual.
